MLGO Thoughts Today:

Made almost a 1,000% move from the previous close… Did I make money on it? Nope. But did I lose my shirt trying to short or long this thing? NOPE!

I mean, look at this—some candles are 35… 40% moves. That’s crazy! Shorts did get bailed out as it faded >50% in the last hour, but this should heat up the small-cap market for the next few days. We’re already seeing it—as I write this, five stocks are up over 75%! Last Thursday? Maybe one or two.

My thoughts? Put risk management in place. This is why I love SpeedTrader—a direct-access broker with a strong support team that actually helps traders manage risk. A must in this kind of market.

  • Implement a max loss per ticker and per day—something you can recover from quickly.

  • You can call them anytime, ask questions, and have risk management set up.

  • No annoying robo-calls (the bane of my existence). Talk to someone REAL and fast… Literally the week before last I called just to ask if they had any information on some stock, the entire interaction was under 5 minutes long. Sometimes I want to call the trade desk just to chat (I don’t but ya know it is a thought)
