Trade Review:
This is my trade from yesterday. You could have bought anything yesterday, walked away and came back up a good amount. That is not the point.
The point is that we need to take emotions out of the game… The market has been choppy but every so often we get a day like this.
Post it note:
I don’t nail tops
I don’t nail bottoms
I barely looked at the chart
I just followed the $SPY levels
I was risking at MOST $2 per share and very quickly I was risking small profit to more profit as I moved my stop loss up. So at MOST I was risking $2 a share and approx 3 mins later my risk was a mcFlurry. By the last 10% of my position we were up $7+ per share. We can take our cuts but need to keep the bigger picture in mind and not be affected by the small cuts. Now the things that skew R/R are 0dte lol as they are a ticking time bomb but if you are trading them - you know that.
We talked about QQQ sitting on the 20D and now look at it! That is our new spot to watch. I will not touch the screen that has that.

MY Ideal scenario is a slow walk up early in am or a chop that reclaims for end of day fireworks. I would have preferred one more big gap up but all good. Bonus confidence points if it tests and fails top levels. It has been a good week and alot of moves so not in a rush. Could also just be a chop day.
