Not sure Fridays thoughts could have played out any better ! Of course execution - another story but it is the market…. When I put on my initial short position in the AM I told myself I was going to hold it till the bell. I ended up getting stopped out of that position (accidentally) - added back and I saw $$ and I took it. Nothing is wrong with that imo… See money, take money. on the flip side if I had not cut any at the levels I did and was stopped out, I would have been pretty upset… The one I do regret is I promised myself I was going to hold a scrap like 10% and I did not do that lol. Oh well didnt want that $$ anyway 🙂
Market recovering some overnight but going to be very cautious with any bias until we see what the next few days do… Given the range on friday it is probably not a terrible idea to size down but allow for larger than normal stops / PT.
