Another Year in the Books!
As we close out the year, I like to take some time for a review—both performance and mindset-based. This process has always helped me reflect, close the chapter on the current year, and choose what to focus on for the upcoming one. Below are some questions I typically use to stimulate my own review. Feel free to share your thoughts with me as well!

  1. How did you handle your trading performance during periods of high stress or when your results weren’t as expected?

  2. Can you identify a time when you let emotions influence your trading decisions?

  3. What were my biggest wins, and what factors contributed to their success?

  4. How did I evolve as a trader this year, and what areas need improvement?

  5. What is your proudest achievement this year?

  6. Did you set and maintain high standards for yourself? If not, why?

  7. Set a goal that feels outlandish at this moment but doable if you are intentional for the next 365 days. Getting 1% better everyday, delayed gratification. A goal that if achieved Dec 31 2025 Mitch would say “Proud of you”.
